At the Rose-Hulman Lady Engineers basketball game last Saturday, Pi Kappa Alpha was named as the Greek organization with the best support of the team at their game, during which they faced Manchester for the regular season conference title. The 76 Pikes in attendance painted their chests, held up posters, constantly waved the Rose-Hulman flag and led a buzzer-to-buzzer flurry of cheers for the team. More pictures from the game are in our photo gallery.
The men of Iota Delta chapter supported Rose-Hulman's winter blood drive and had the highest giving percentage of all the Greek organizations at the school. 32 members of Pike contributed blood over the two day period, resulting in 32.3% of the chapter giving blood (athletes and medical exemptions were not included in the totals). Delta Sigma Phi came in second with 24.7% (18 people) and Theta Xi placed third with 15.8% (3 people).
The winning sorority was Chi Omega with 28.9% (24 members), and Alpha Omicron Pi and Delta Delta Delta took second and third, respectively.
