Pike won 1st place in the annual "Greek Games" competition, edging Delta Sigma Phi by one point.
The combination of winning the chariot race, placing 2nd in the eating competition, and dominating the field in pyramid, ensured the Iota Delta victory.
Pike wrapped up the spring IM season by winning a fourth consecutive IM championship. Pike performed well in many sports during the year including volleyball, table tennis, chess, racquet ball, and Ultimate. Winning the A and C leagues of ultimate pushed Pike over the top to secure the Championship. Pike looks forward to another very successful '10-11 IM year.
Pike participated in Greek Games this weekend. The turnout was somewhat small due to rescheduling, but Pike but in a good showing in pyramid. We came in fourth place overall at Greek Games. However, we won the pyramid with a time of 6.97 seconds.
March 20th at the ISU pool, Pike won DG's annual Anchor Splash competition for another year. This could only be accomplished by hard work and determination by all the members of the swim relays, synchronized swimming team, our Mr. Anchorsplash, Brian Cherbak, and all those who donated to Penny wars.
Pike nearly swept the competition winning all of the relays and synchronized swimming. We only had Mr. Anchorsplash pulled out from under us at the last minute by a generous donation against us by one of the other fraternities.
Congrats to all the participants!

On Sunday, May 4, 2008, 60 Brothers came out to compete and cheer on other Brothers at Rose’s Annual Greek Games Cup. The competition was comprised of six events: the chariot race, relay race, dodge ball tournament, tug of war, two liter bottle throw, and the classic Greek Pyramid. A seventh event, blood drive participation, took place a few weeks before. First place finishes included the chariot race, relay race, and field event. Pike also placed first in the Pyramid, the first time in four years. Overall, Pike emerged victorious for the third time in the past four years! Thanks to all the Brothers that came out for the day and the alumni that came back for the games. Watch the video below to see the Pyramid Team's winning run!
For the sixth consecutive time, and the second time in 2007, the men of Pi Kappa Alpha have claimed first place overall in Delta Gamma's Anchor Splash. Pike placed first in the 100 medley, the push-pull relay, the ball carry relay, and synchronized swimming. The judges ranked Pike first in the Mr. Anchorsplash pageant but first place was not awarded due to massive amounts of money being piled against Pike in penny wars. Congratulations to James Wilkerson for organizing the Pike team and to everyone who participated. Anchor Splash is a Delta Gamma annual philanthropy event for Service for Sight/Sight Conservation that was rescheduled from the spring to the fall, allowing for two victories in a single year.
