10/04/08 - Art in Terre Haute13 viewsTaking a break from some of the homecoming festivities, Alex, Beth, and I traveled down to downtown Terre-Haute to see what was around. While the Clabber Girl Museum was closed, we did find a couple of pretty nice art galleries, that I never knew even existed during my 4 year tenure there. Weird.

03/26/07 - House Hunting13 viewsLately, I've been looking to buy a house. I put an offer on the house pictured above (it's in Dinkytown), but was eventually beat out by a higher offer. I'm starting to get second thoughts about the whole "owning a house" thing, especially because I would only plan to own it for a few years while i'm getting a part time MBA and housing values have predicted to drop in this time frame (damn you housing market and sub-prime lenders!). The way I'm thinking about it now, the only way I'd buy somthing is if I absolutely fell in love with something and still had time to cancel out of my apartment lease. Time will tell
