12/13/04 - SNOW!!!70 viewsToday marks the first 'significant' snowfall for Terre Haute. Although it was nothing more than flurries all day that didn't accumulate, it was nice to see the snow come down anyway. Watching the snow fall always seems to lift my spirits, so I am happy to see it come.

11/18/05 - Kyosis29 viewsTonight, Krystal and I saw some live bands play at the 3 degrees club in downtown mpls (yeah, i'm back here for T-day break). The guitarist of the above band (Kyosis) is one of Krystal's good friends from Armstrong, Luis. I knew him a little too, because he played viola for the Armstrong orchestra. Sorry for the bad pic...flash photography was prohibited. Anyway, the show was really awesome, we had a blast, and seeing old faces definitely brought back some good memories.

I'm not sure if the story can be done very well on screen, but i'm eager to see the result. The little fellow pictured above is Marvin the Paranoid Android, who serves as a relief from the many comic situations encountered in the books. I pictured him as an even wussier 3-cpo when reading the books...so this director's conception is throwing me for a loop...
