03/03/06 - Driving Down to Rose30 viewsKrystal and I took our last trip to Rose-Hulman today so I could drop her off for classes. Tomorrow I will be heading to St. Louis to see Tony at Wash U. I probably won't have a lot of access to the internet on my trip, so the posts will be infrequent at best for the next month. Above is one of the more interesting signs Krystal and I see on our trips.

01/03/06 - Me and Rich35 viewsTonight, me and a bunch of pikes (and a bunch of alumns, Edmonson and Batta included) went out to the balleyhoo to see rich hardesty play w/ his band. The show was freaking awesome and we came early enough to avoid the cover. Above is a shot of Rich and me. Apparantly he's pretty big in Bloomington. All in all, it was a Freaking awesome night; Rich played some awesome songs, and my level of inebriation helped me through the bar scene and through the night. word.

01/24/05 - I wish I was here45 viewsAbsolutely nothing extraordinary happened today. I was reminded by my brother, however, about how much I miss snowboarding, as he gets to do it back home all the time. I went browsing around my computer and found this awesome pic from the steamboat vacation freshman year...Oh how I wish I could be thrashing some backcountry powder right now...

01/16/08 - Beer! Part 221 viewsEven though the instructions only recommended one week, I waited a healthy 10 days before bottling my beer. Hopefully, this means more of the yeast will have eaten the sugary mix and converted said sugars into alcoholy goodness. Now we'll see if I have the fortitude to wait the additional 4-7 days to wait while the beer carbonates inside the bottles...3 comments

07/21/07 - Bachelor Party14 viewsLater that night, I headed downtown for Brad Johnson's bachelor party before he got married on the 28th. We started at the Twins Game, where Joe Mauer hit an 'in the park' homerun, and then headed down to 7 corners to drink ourselves silly afterwards...

Lewis and Clark National Forest4 viewsWe came across a huge section of recently-burned forest. It was really eerie for two reasons: 1. all of the branch-less, monolithic burnt trees as far as the eye could see and 2. aside from some grass and moss, there was not a single living thing (bug or otherwise) in sight or sound.Jun 22, 2009
